Tanavade hails Union Budget, says it touches lives of every Indian

PANJIM: Hailing the Union Budget, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Friday said that the Budget touches the lives of every Indian and has taken care of the welfare of every section. 

Addressing a press conference at the party office, here, Tanavade said that this is the first national budget of India’s ‘Amrit Kaal’ is a public welfare and pro-poor budget.

He said that the Budget focus is to promote social justice and equality and provide equal opportunities to all sections of our society. 

“This budget will make India a super economic power,” he said. 

Tanavade said that Goa will have a double benefit of new tax regime. He said that under the new Income Tax Regime, no tax will be charged for income up to Rs 7lakhs is a boon for the salaried, middle-class and vulnerable but Goa rebate will be upto Rs 14 lakh as per the Section 5A Income Tax Act 1961. 

Tanavade also said that the budget gives emphasis on education, skill development and infrastructure development, which has been the hallmark of this government.
