PONDA: Chairman of SC/ST Commission Ramesh Tawadkar visited Bokadbag and listened to the grievances of the locals over the long pending land dispute with a religious sanstha at Ramnathi.
A local Raju Bandodkar said “The villagers of Bokadbag-Bandora had complained to SC/ST Commission that a religious sanstha at Ramnathi had purchased one lakh square metres of land on which they were residing since ages. The villagers claimed that most of the them residing on the said plot are STs. Despite complaining to various government departments the sanstha managed to purchase the said land.”
