Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and other dignitaries paid homage to Late Dr Tristão de Bragança Cunha on the occasion of his 64th death anniversary, at his memorial at Azad Maidan, Panjim, on Monday. ’ Sawant praised TB Cunha who is known as the ‘Father of Goan Nationalism’, for his role in Goa’s Liberation struggle. As part of the ‘Azadi ka, Amrit Mahotsav,’ Sawant informed that schools will be named after freedom fighters and programmes will be held to invoke a sense of nationalism for future generations.
