TCP ‘corrects’ 20,487 sqm to settlement zone in RP 2021

PANJIM: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has ‘corrected’ zone of six plots of land across the State  totally admeasuring 20,487 square metres, as settlement zone in Regional Plan Goa-2021. These plots have been corrected as per the provisions of section 17(2) of TCP Act, 1974. 

A plot of land admeasuring an area of 969 square metres, surveyed under survey No. 161, sub-division No 2, of village Chaudi, Canacona Taluka, which was earmarked as paddy field; plot of land admeasuring an area of 3,483 square metres, surveyed under survey No. 104, sub-division No. 1-C, of village Penha De Franca, Bardez, which was earmarked as natural cover; plot of land admeasuring an area of 3,850 square metres, surveyed under survey No. 89 sub-division No. 6 of village Saligao, Bardez, which was earmarked as natural cover; plot of land admeasuring an area of 6,010 square metres, surveyed under survey No. 405, sub-division No. 10 and 10-A, of Village Soccoro, Bardez which was earmarked as natural cover. 

A plot of land admeasuring an area of 3,990 square metres, surveyed under survey No. 469, sub-division No. 23-K, of village Curtorim, Salcete Taluka which was earmarked as paddy field and plot of land admeasuring an area of 2,185 square metres, surveyed under survey No. 6, sub-division No. 2 (Part), of village Orgao, Ponda Taluka, which was earmarked as general industry as per Regional Plan Goa-2021 were all corrected as settlement zones.
