TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane has assured to depute a team from his department to inspect and check illegal hill cutting in Kaknamudi-Cuncolim. Cuncolim MLA Yuri Alemao pointed out that 90% of the 23000 square metre land was a slope and hill cutting was being done and demanded action against violators. He also demanded action against TCP officers who had given permission to do construction and refused to acknowledge it was being done on a slope.
