In a shocking incident in Ghaziabad, a 52-year-old man allegedly beheaded his wife with a sword after she requested an additional 10 minutes to prepare a cup of tea on Tuesday morning. The victim, identified as Sundari, a mother of three, lived with her husband Dharamveer, a daily wage worker. The tragic event unfolded when Dharamveer, known for his tea addiction with a daily consumption of more than six cups, demanded tea as soon as he woke up.
After a five-minute delay, Dharamveer confronted Sundari in their makeshift kitchen on the terrace, demanding tea once again. When Sundari requested him to wait for an additional ten minutes as she got ready, Dharamveer, infuriated by the delay, attacked her from behind with a sword. The couple’s children, awakened by the commotion, discovered their mother severely injured. Dharamveer, showing signs of further aggression, prompted the children to retreat to their room. Law enforcement responded to the incident, arresting Dharamveer and registering a case under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
