SATTARI: The Internet connectivity continues to be a major issue in Sattari. Teachers in Sattari Taluka have now started visiting villages to gather students and teach them at the common spaces like temple or their homes.

Everywhere in Sattari there is connecting problem. School teachers cannot teach the students online and have made a plan to teach the children offline, by visiting them in villages. The Government High School of Savarde Village panchayat has divided the students and teachers into groups school wise. Three teachers in Sonal village started visiting the rural villages on Tuesday and began classes for children in the temple hall whilst maintaining social distance.

When contacted, Sonal villagers said that they had already written to the village panchayat to install a connectivity tower in village. The villagers have also raised the mobile network problem during their gram sabha. The panchayat body, however, has failed to solve their network problem.

The villagers also informed the local MLA Vishwajeet Rane the connectivity problem. The minister had assured them he would take up this issue, but till date he has not solved their connectivity problem, say villagers.
