QUEPEM: Quepem Police Inspector Deepak Pednekar arrested Nigel Jack Fernandes, 19, from Bebqueghal, Curchorem for possessing ganja.

As per sources, the Quepem police learnt that the teenager was going to come near a crusher (near Gudi, Paroda) on Wednesday to sell the narcotic.
The police laid a trap and when he arrived at the spot to sell the drug, he was duly arrested.
Fernandes is now remanded in police custody. An offence is registered against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Act. Police are investigating further.
