MAPUSA: The Additional Session Court at Mapusa has adjourned hearing in alleged rape case involving former editor of Tehelka, Tarun Tejpal, to December 17.
The in-camera cross examination of the victim was held before Judge Kshama Joshi at Mapusa court on Wednesday and Thursday.
The cross examination will continue for four days that on December 18, 20 and 21. For the in-camera trial, victim along with Special Public prosecutor Adv Francisco Tavora with Assistant Public Prosecutor Adv Cyndiana Silva and Tejpal along with his lawyer Adv Shrikant Shivade were present.
Tejpal was booked for allegedly raping a junior colleague in a lift of a five-star hotel during an event in 2013. On November 22, 2013 Goa police had taken sou motu cognizance of the incident and lodge an FIR against Tejpal.
