MAPUSA: North Goa District and Sessions Court adjourned the judgment in alleged rape case involving founder editor of Tehelka, Tarun Tejpal to May 19. The judgment was scheduled to be pronounced on May 12.
“The judgment is adjourned to May 19 at 10 am. The court is presently functioning with 15 per cent staff due to which the judgement is adjourned”, Special Public Prosecutor Francisco Tavora said.

It may be recalled that Tarun Tejpal was arrested on November 30, 2013 for allegedly raping a colleague at a five-star resort in North Goa. He is currently out on bail.
