QUEPEM: National Adivasi Solidarity Council, an NGO from Telangana, has complained to south Goa Collector for allegedly not paying salaries of 22 labourers from Telangana, who are working at double tracking line at Assolda, Curchorem.
Upon the complaint, the South Goa Collector’s Office Deputy Collector Nilesh Daigodhkar and his team visited the site and conducted an inspection.
“We have found out that the said labourers were paid less than promised. Strict action will taken against the employers”, Nilesh said.
Nilesh futher informed that the labourers were paid all their pending dues few hours after the inspection.
