In the early hours of last Saturday, a Telangana-registered car was engulfed in flames, ultimately being reduced to ashes near the Reis Magos Fort-Verem. Swift action was taken as a team of fire personnel swiftly responded to a distress call, rushing to the scene with the intent to douse the fire and curtail any further devastation.
Despite the fire brigade’s prompt intervention, the car had already suffered considerable damage by the time they reached the site. Preliminary estimates have pegged the loss at a staggering Rs 40 lakhs. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported. While the immediate threat has been averted, ongoing investigations aim to unravel the cause behind this blaze.
