PORVORIM: Telephone cable belonging to the BSNL has been reportedly stolen from an open place near the Calvim bridge in Aldona.
In a complaint, BSNL Junior Telecom Officer Jesin Hassan K P informed Mapusa police that the incident took place sometime before May 5, when unknown persons stole 100 pairs of 40-metre cables.
The Mapusa Police has registered the offence under Section 379 IPC and is investigating the case.
