“At around 1.30 am when I was patrolling inside the temple compound, I noticed the lights of temple suddenly go off. I decided to go to the fuse box to attend the fault, however taking advantage of darkness, someone came towards me rushing from behind and hit me on my forehead with a stone. Before I could realize what had happened to me the culprits then started stabbing me on my neck and they even chopped my three fingers and fled away from the scene. With all my injuries I managed to reach to the temple priest’s home located inside the temple and later I have no idea of what happened to me,” Agapurkar told reporters.
