Temples, bus stops were his shelters when on the run

PANJIM: While he is said to have gone through nightmares throughout his hiding period, the senior journalist -- accused of sexual harassment -- had taken shelter in temples and bus stops at some remote places in Maharashtra.

Sources said that during his interrogation, Rupesh Samant told the investigating officer that he spent some nights in temples and would also loiter from one bus stop to another.
“He was hiding in some remote places of Maharashtra and had one meal a day,” a reliable source said. 
The journalist was extensively questioned by DIG V Renganathan too at police headquarters. It is learnt that he is kept at crime branch lock up in Ribandar.
