PANJIM: Banvari Bishnoi, 26, who was staying as a tenant in a house at Nagvem, Sattari, decamped with a gold chain, Rs 4.5 lakh cash and a two-wheeler of the owner Sunil Bishnoi.
The incident occurred on May 8, and complaint was filed in this regard on Monday.
As per the complaint, the accused hailing from Rajasthan, stole a gold chain worth Rs 72,000 and cash of Rs 4.50 lakh from the drawer of complainant and fled away from the house with a two-wheeler belonging to Sunil Bishnoi.
The Valpoi Police have registered a case against Banvari Bisnoi under Section 380 of IPC and PSI R Sawant is conducting investigations.
