MARGAO: The 19-year-old lad from Cuncolim, who was accused by the Cuncolim police for making a hoax call, was on Thursday remanded to one-day police custody.
Margao Sub-divisional Police officer, DySP Mohan Naik informed that the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class has remanded the lad to one-day police custody for the purpose of investigation.
He said the youngster was booked by the police under the Information Technology Act and for providing false information to the police in respect of the plot hatched by three persons to trigger bomb blasts at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on January 26.
