The feast of Sts. Peter and Paul celebrated at Assolna

The feast of Saints Peter and Paul which celebrated on the occasion of the martyrdom of the two biggest saints of the Catholic church at Assolna. The feast is especially celebrated by the fishing community and marks the beginning of the fishing activity. A Sanggod was taken out with the priest blessing the nets, the canoes and the sea. The Sangod is moved over the water with the priest and the band.
