MARGAO: Additional Sessions Judge Sayonora Teles Laad on Wednesday partly allowed the appeal filed by Vijay Desai against the order passed by Judicial Magistrate First Class convicting him of theft for which he was sentenced to three years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,000.
His imprisonment has been cancelled under the Probation of Offender Act and the judge admonished him and made him pay the fine of Rs 1,000.
