CALANGUTE: A native of Bijapur-Karnataka has been accused of stealing cash of Rs 1 lakh from his employer at Porba Vaddo, Calangute.
According to Calangute Police, a jet ski owner, Naik, had employed the accused to look after his water sports business.
On Wednesday, Naik found cash of Rs 1 lakh missing from the cupboard and the accused was also missing. Naik later filed a complaint. Meanwhile, Old Goa correspondent reported that cash of about Rs 5,000 was stolen from the fund box at Shri Vithoba Rakhumai Temple, Merces.
