Spate of thefts continues unabated in the jurisdiction of Colva police station with a fresh case reported at Majorda Sunday night.
Police said the incident occurred in the house of one Remedious Fernandes when the miscreants broke into the house Sunday night and lifted away gold bangles, two wrist watches, a Nokia mobile phone, besides Cash of Rs 11,500, all worth Rs 50,000.
Incidentally, around 10 cases of theft have taken place in the jurisdiction of Colva police station in the last many days, including the daring dacoity, with the miscreants decamping away with property worth around Rs 15 lakh.
