Vasco Police detained three persons, two minors and an adult
involved in a recent assault case reported at Shantinagar, Vasco that had left
two persons injured. Police detained the three accused who were absconding
after leaving the state. Upon receiving information on their return, the police
laid a trap and arrested the accused. The motive behind the assault is yet to
be known. Vasco PI Kapil Nayak has warned that there is no bigger goonda than
the Vasco police and that stringent action will be taken against criminals
trying to harass the poor and commit crimes.
