COLLEM: Thieves broke into four shops at Collem market by removing the roof tiles on Thursday during the wee hours of dawn and stole Rs 20,000 from Sagar Ganjekar’s shop and some cash from the shop belonging to Ramdas Patil.
They also tried to break into two other shops belonging to Hari Bhagat and Ramdas Shingadi but failed to do so. Shopkeepers have demanded that police patrolling be intensified in the area as there have been similar incidents reported before.
