PANJIM: Following the entry of several NCP leaders into the party, a jubilant-looking Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Luizinho Faleiro on Saturday said “this is the real gatbandhan”.
He also criticised the leaders calling for a mahagatbandhan as selfish. “This is what I call a real gatbandhan. Those calling for mahagatbandhan have a personal agenda,” Faleiro said indirectly hinting at Independent MLAs, who recently backed a new regional outfit.
Faleiro, however, agreed that all like-minded parties have to come on a common platform to defeat the communal forces. “If we have to defeat the corrupt BJP we need to come under one umbrella but have to keep the personal motives aside,” Faleiro said.
