PONDA: Thousands of devotees participated in the Dahi Handi celebrations on Thursday which marked the conclusion of the traditional seven-day Bajani Saptah at Nagueshi temple.
In their sixth attempt, the youth from Nagueshi, who had formed a five-tier human pyramid finally managed to break the dahi handi. People encouraged the youth to break the Dahi handi by chanting “Govinda Re Gopala”. The function concluded with the distribution of the Mahaprasad.
