The driver of a mini pickup Mohammed Mustafa from Colvale
originally from Uttar Pradesh and two women from Karaswada and natives of Karnataka
were arrested after they were found to have stolen goods from De Nora’s factory
in Kundaim. The stolen copper cable rolls were worth Rs 2 lakh.
The case was filed by Anuradha Akaram Kadam, HR Manager of De Nora India. She said that between September 3 and 5, an unknown culprit had effected entry into De Nora India. The culprits entered the company at Kundai and decamped with copper
cable rolls. The police checked the CCTV
footage and found one Tata Ace vehicle which they traced at Karaswada along
with the driver and solved the case.
