Three builders issued notice for not registering projects

PANJIM: The Goa Real Estate Regulations Authority (GRERA) has issued notices to three builders for non-registration of their projects under Goa RERA.

PANJIM: The Goa Real Estate Regulations Authority (GRERA) has issued notices to three builders for non-registration of their projects under Goa RERA.
Based on a complaint filed by social activist Kashinath Shetye, GRERA has issued notices to three builders Rajdeep builders, Panjim for their six projects – Rajdeep Green Fields, St Cruz, Rajdeep Residency Chimbel, Rajdeep Residency, Dona Paula, Rajdeep Anani Residency, Bhatulem, Rajdeep Residency, Taleigao and Rajdeep Residency, Mapusa.
GRERA has also issued notices to L& B Associates, Builders and Developers, Mapusa for their Sapphire Apartments project and M/s Riviera Constructions Pvt Ltd, Mapusa for their project Riviera Gardens.
The notices state that the builders have promoted, marketed and offered to sell the projects without getting registered under the RERA Act and Rules.
The builders have therefore been asked to submit their reply by July 23, 2018. 
“If no reply is received within the stipulated time or reply given is not satisfactory, action as deemed fit as per provision of the Act will be initiated against you,” says Director of Urban Development R Menaka, IAS.
