Three cars broken into in capital city

PANJM: Unidentified persons cut windows of three cars and stole music systems worth over Rs 1 lakh in the capital city during the intervening night of April 20-21. Police believe the thefts are a handiwork of one gang.

PANJM: Unidentified persons cut windows of three cars and stole music systems worth over Rs 1 lakh in the capital city during the intervening night of April 20-21. Police believe the thefts are a handiwork of one gang. 
Two Maruti Swift cars, and a Hyundai Getz belonging to Dr Bossuet Afonso, which were parked outside residences, were the targets. According to the complaints filed by the respective car owners, the thieves broke into the vehicles by cutting open the window and stole the music systems. A medical equipment box from the doctor’s car was also stolen by the thieves. 
Police said they will ascertain whether similar theft cases were reported at other police stations in the recent past and also find out exact number of cars damaged in the burglaries. 
In another theft, a Yamaha motorbike belonging to Rajesh Gupta was stolen from the open parking space near Bombay High Court at Goa.
