PANJIM: Three Goa civil service officers – Arun Dessai, Sandeep Jaques and Swapnil Naik – have been inducted into the Indian Administrative Services, in the AGMUT cadre by the Union government. A letter to this effect has been received by the chief secretary, sources said.
Additional Secretary Personnel Yatindra Maralkar said he has received the information but is yet to see the order. However, Herald is in possession of a copy of the order issued by Union under secretary personnel Pankaj Gangwar.
Desai is currently Labour Commissioner, Jacques is SAG Executive Director while Naik is Additional Collector North. They belong to 1998 batch of Goa Civil Services.
