MAPUSA: Pernem Police arrested three youth for committing theft of 15 motorcycles and selling their spare parts.
The youth identified as Gardon Agnelo Fernandes (18) from Siolim, Simon Alvin D’Souza (23) from Soccorro and Denzil Carasco (29) from Karaswada for allegedly committing theft of motorcycles and selling their parts.
According to Pernem Police, the patrolling team received information about a boy moving suspiciously at Chopdem. Immediately, a team of Pernem Police apprehended the boy.
On interrogation, he disclosed that he along with another boy committed theft of motorcycles and sold them to a person in Karaswada.
Pernem Police recovered 15 motorcycles and spare parts from the alleged accused persons.
The police have booked the accused under Section 379, 411 R/W 34 IPC. Pernem Police are investigating the case.
