MARGAO: Fatorda Police on Monday arrested three wholesale fish traders for selling fish on the roadsides beyond designated market places.
The Police cracked down on the three traders for allegedly selling fish on the roadside. One of the traders was arrested from the roadside near wholesale fish market and the other two were held for selling fish on the Gandhi Road in the evening.
They were arrested and booked under Section 34 of IP Act, for creating nuisance and were released on bail later.
Meanwhile, the SGPDA is in a process to resume the operations of the market from July 23 and has submitted a plan to the District Collector.
