MARGAO: Margao Town police on Sunday arrested three persons and recovered from them 26 mobile phones and five mixers altogether estimated to be worth around Rs 49,000.
Of the three arrested two are teenage natives of Uttar Pradesh while the third is a native of Karnataka.
Police arrested the three near Victor Hospital at Pajifond as they appeared to be moving in a suspicious manner and recovered the goods from them. The arrested are Raj Kapoor (18) and Mukesh Kumar (18), both natives of Uttar Pradesh and Tanveer Major (39), a native of Karnataka.
