PONDA: In a fatal accident between a truck and a land cruiser jeep at Mollem, there persons were killed and five others suffered injuries, on Friday morning. The land cruiser jeep was carrying 11 passengers from Karnataka who had come for picnic at Calangute. According to police, the victims were returning to their native place in Karnataka when an oncoming truck collided against their vehicle at Mollem. The injured have been admitted to Hospicio in Margao and Tisk Usgao Health centre. One of the seriously injured victim has been shifted to GMC.
