PANJIM: Following the advisory issued by the Secretary Legislature, for all MLAs to test themselves for COVID-19, three MLAs announced that their swab test results had returned as negative.
These were Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai, Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte and Cuncolim MLA Clafasio Dias.
It may be recalled that Priol MLA Govind Gaude too had announced on Saturday that his test had returned as negative.
Directions had been issued to all the members and staff of the House to test themselves after Panjim MLA Atanasio Babush Monserrate had announced on Friday that he had tested positive.
Babush had attended the ongoing budget sessions that were held at the Goa Legislative Assembly complex.
Late Saturday night, Babush was admitted to Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim. Sources said that Babush had developed a fever.
