PANJIM: Thunderstorms and lightening are likely to continue at isolated places in Goa on Friday.
Indian Meteorological Department, in its daily bulletin, forecast that Goa will experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightening on Thursday and Friday.
Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the waters at least till Sunday as thunder showers are expected till then.
The weather report further stated that there will be a gradual rise in maximum temperature by 1-2°C in the next 48 hours.
“Squally weather with strong winds with speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph likely to prevail over south west Arabian Sea on May 20 to May 24, 2021,” the report said.
