Sharmad, however, has rubbished the allegations, terming them as false and baseless, saying that the ESG had spent a total of only Rs 29 lakh on the cultural programs in Margao.
Anil Kumar told the media that Sharmad come clean about his role in the alleged gross violations of rules and regulations. He said the reply given to the Goa Assembly for an un-starred LAQ 3 reveal that the Clearance Committee of ESG had appointed Sharmad Raiturcar as the venue in charge with a mandate to form a cultural committee and to organise and execute various cultural programs during IFFI 2013.
