CURCHOREM: Caetano Salvador Pereira, popularly known as Cajetan de Sanvordem on the Konkani Tiatr stage, who hails from Khamamoll, Curchorem has passed away on Tuesday (November 17) late evening at Goa Medical College, Bambolim at the age of 67after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters.

He was very active on Facebook by regularly posting his weekly jokes on weekends.The entire tiatr fraternity has expressed heartfelt sympathies to his bereaved family and pray that the Almighty may grant his souls eternal peace.Caetano was a legend on the Konkani stage. He was born on 5th April, 1953. A great actor, singer and his formidable trio was famous in Kuwait along with Marcus and Xavier. Tiatr lovers have lost a dynamic personality of the Konkani stage whose memory will always remain in the heart of Goans.
