PANJIM: Taking the first legal step in its fight for justice for Siddhi Naik, the Goa Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) on Tuesday filed a petition before the Goa State Commission for Women (GSCW), seeking immediate intervention in the death of the 19-year-old and demanded a re-investigation into the case.
Goa TMC leaders Swati Kerkar, Pratibha Borkar, Avita Bandodkar and Doris Texeira urged the GSWC chairperson to re-examine the Siddhi Naik case to ensure that justice is done.
