Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national spokesperson Raghav Chadha on Saturday said it is too early to speak on a pre-poll alliance with like-minded parties and that he will speak about it closer to the Assembly polls.
Chadha said that AAP is becoming a hope for Goan voters and that the party will make its stand clear on an alliance at the right time.
To a question, the Delhi MLA said that there are some good people in Congress and the BJP and that AAP will welcome such people, who are upright, non-corrupt and having no criminal background. “We will welcome those types of people who have social work background and wish to work for the welfare of the people and the State and not for their own welfare,” he said.
Asked what would be the AAP’s stand on three controversial linear projects if voted to power, AAP State convenor Rahul Mhambre said the party’s stand is clear and that its volunteers have been protesting against them. He said that projects should be approved depending on what the people of Goa want. People are completely against these three projects because they are causing environmental degradation and have been thrust upon people of Goa by the BJP high command, he said.
