Top brass to be told of scams

Even as the State BJP leaders have been instrumental in exposing several multi-core scams from ministries in the Congress Government, its failure to directly hold Chief Minister Digambar Kamat responsible will have to be answered to its Central leadership.
In her reply to a media question, BJP National Secretary Arti Mehra said that she would ask her party officials to explain their action. “I have recently taken charge. I will ask them but as far as I am concerned I will reserve my opinion until I know the exact picture”, she said.
BJP State President Laxmikant Parsekar, Leader of Opposition Manohar Parrikar and other BJP leaders hauled up Kamat-led Government of being involved in multi-crore scams including excise, mining and Information & Publicity departments.
