Torchbearers get a pat

PANJIM, MARCH 15
The 3-day free retreat at Chinchinim, originally planned by Torchbearers, evoked a huge response with thousands of devotees gathering in praise and worship of God.
Residents of Chinchinim thanked the Torchbearers for the exceptional and elaborate arrangements for the retreat.
The retreat which concluded on Sunday was conducted by Bro Joel. All amenities were provided free of cost to the devotees.
It may be recalled that Torchbearers had initially taken the initiative to organize the retreat in association with the Chinchinim church. Massive arrangements were put in place.
However, the Torchbearers subsequently pulled out of the event allowing the Church authorities to go ahead with the plans.
