Panjim: The State recorded three COVID-19 deaths and 408 new cases in past 24 hours.
As per the mortality bulletin released by the Health Dept on Tuesday, the 3 deceased are aged above 45 years and below 60 years, hailing from Ponda, Canca and Macazana. While two patients died in Goa Medical College, one died at ESI. 1 death was reported on Monday afternoon and 2 deaths were reported early Tuesday morning.
The Health Bulletin states that 408 new cases were reported in last 24 hours taking the tally of total Active cases to 4,316. A total of 554 recovered during this period, with overall recoveries count at 34,252. The rate of recovery is calculated at 87.64%.
