PANJIM: The Tourism Department on Friday stated that almost all the watersports operators in the State are in violation of the norms and mandates.
The department has issued notices to the watersports operators across the State for norms and guidelines as well as jurisdiction violations. An official of the Tourism Department informed that even the Miramar watersports operators are in violation of the water sports rules and also of the High Court mandate which orders to have a queue system for the business operations.
The department has initiated action against the watersports operators across the State wherein notices were drawn to all the operators which were found violating norms and guidelines.
The department has also issued orders to all its officials to conduct surprise checks across Goan beaches to find and penalised violations.
