CANDOLIM: The Calangute Constituency Forum (CCF) submitted a memorandum to the Health Officer at the Candolim Primary Health Centre (PHC), on Wednesday, requesting him to look into the matter as sewage water being released and leaked in an open space by the state of the art toilet, which was constructed by the Tourism Department.
The Health Officer at the Primary Health Centre at Candolim, Dr. Roshan assured to look into the matter. CCF has also submitted the memorandum to the Candolim panchayat.
They complained that the toilet is creating unhygienic conditions for locals and tourists and polluting the environment. CCF requested the PHC to carry out an inspection at the said spot and to take immediate action.
