COLVALE: A tourist bus from Maharashtra knocked down a man near HP Petrol pump at Colvale on Saturday morning. The injured 45-year-old motorcyclist was taken to District Hospital Mapusa. He was later shifted to Goa Medical College, Bambolim as he has suffered a fracture on his waist.
The locals have noted down the registration number of the bus that knocked down the motorcyclist and informed the police.
The two-wheeler, a Hero Pleasure scooter, has been totally damaged in the incident.
The driver along with the tourist bus was detained at Margao later in the day by Mapusa Police.
An accident case has been registered and further investigation is in progress.
