Calangute: A tourist from Karnataka died of injuries after he fell down while riding a two-wheeler in Calangute on Monday.
Calangute police said the deceased, RiyajAllasabPinjar, 33, was travelling from Arpora to Calangute on his rented scooter. When he reached the Fat Fish junction, he accidentally fell down with the scooter and sustained injuries.
Pinjar, a resident of Betigeri, Gadag, was shifted to the Primary Health Centre in Candolim, where he was declared brought dead.
Calangute police have registered a case of unnatural death. Further inquiry is being conducted with LPSI Pragati Malik.
