Tourist rescued from drowning at Anjuna beach

A 22-year-old tourist from Mumbai was rescued from drowning off Anjuna coast.
According to Dhristi reports, Joravar Singh was recently rescued off Anjuna coast after the beach was closed and lifeguards were off for the day.
BSP guards Gautam Parsekar and Sachin Kerkar, who were posted at Anjuna beach for night patrol observed the tourist swimming in a potentially danger zone.
Sachin rushed to warn the victim about the dangers of swimming at night and unavailability of lifeguards, but before he could reach the victim he was pulled in by a heavy underwater current.
Sensing the danger, guard Gautam with the help of rescue tubes and Sachin rescued the tourist and brought him safely ashore.
