MAPUSA: The Mapusa Fire station team rescued a tourist from Kolkata who fell into a road side well on late Friday night.
Sub Officer Ashok Parab stated that the control room received call at 11.23 pm informing that a person had fallen into a well at Vagator. Immediately a team of fire fighters rushed to the spot and discovered that that well was 80 feet deep. The rescue operation was commenced and using a hydraulic machine, the fire fighters got into the well and rescued the tourist identified as Manu, 26, native of Kolkata, West Bengal.
