Three tourists – a couple from Bangalore and a tourist from Denmark have complained that they are not allowed to go trekking to Dudhsagar via the forest route. They stated that they had come all the way and were ready to pay extra but they wanted to do trekking through an alternate path. But the Forest Department officials insisted that they either go by jeep or take the road taken by jeeps. Tourists said taking the jeep road was not only dangerous but a waste of their time and money. Forest officials were not willing to respond on camera.
