Tourists thrashed for causing nuisance

CALANGUTE: Some domestic tourists were allegedly beaten up by locals for creating nuisance on the Calangute beach late Sunday evening.
According to sources, the tourists were in high spirit and were creating nuisance at a beach shack. The locals’ plea to behave themselves fell on deaf ears, prompting the locals to thrash the tourists.
Sources further informed that one of the tourists was later rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention, while the matter was amicably resolved.
